Dear Friend: Do you know that you will go to heaven when you die?
The Bible teaches us that God wants us to know. The Bible says: "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." ( 1 John 5:13) Would you like to know how the Bible teaches you to have eternal life?

The first thing the Bible teaches us is that it is our fault that we are separated from God "All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God!" ( Romans 3:23 ) Do you believe you have missed the mark God set for your life?

Next, the Bible says; "The wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life." (Romans 6:23) That means we deserve to die, go to hell, and be separated from God forever. Do you believe that this is what you deserve?

It is also told us God wants to give us a gift called eternal life. Why do you think He wants to do this? Because He Loves You! The Bible says; "God demonstrated His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." ( Romans 5:8 ) Do you believe God loves you and sacrificed His son to pay for everything that keeps you from knowing Him?

The final thing that we must understand is that the gift is only available if we determine to stop trusting ourselves and start trusting Jesus to give us life. This is called Repentance and Lordship! How do you make that decision? Well, we must receive the gift by asking for it. The Bible says; "that if you will confess with your mouth (asking) that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart (trusting) that God raised him from the dead, You will be saved!" ( Romans 10:9 ) Would you like to receive the gift of life by trusting Jesus to be your Savior and Lord today?

You must understand that trusting in anything you can do will not save you. The Bible says; "for by grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourself; it is the gift of God, Not of works lest anyone should boast." ( Ephesians 2:8-9 ) Are you ready to know that you have Eternal Life?

Sample of what to pray:
Lord, I know I have done things wrong and I understand that separates me from you. I also know that you love me and sacrificed your Son on the cross to pay for my wrongs. Lord Jesus, I believe you are alive and are hearing me now. I want to ask you to forgive my sin, to give me an eternal life, and to be in control of that life. I trust you to save me and change me. In your name I pray, AMEN.
Now that you have trusted in Jesus, it is time for you to begin that NEW LIFE. Here are the beginning steps to take.
1. Tell someone. You came to know Christ because someone told you. Jesus wants you to tell others. ( Matthew 10:32 )
2. Be baptized as an act of obedience and an outward sign that Jesus has washed your sins away. ( Matthew 28:19 )
3. Join a Bible teaching Church. ( Hebrews 10:25 )
4. Tell someone else! The Bible says; "he that wins souls is wise" ( Proverbs 11:30 )
